In the Austin Farmers' Market....



Welcome back and also a hello/howdy to these folks, coming in 4/2:Nile Valley Herbs Tea, Mary Louise Butter's Brownies (yes, she really is coming!), Out of My Gourd, Ruth Meaders, and Garza Greens.

Not Here 4/2: Arnosky Family Farm (they hope people will buy the painted flowers this week and then come back for the real ones next week), Gendron Tomatoes, Tres Emu Rancheros, Soy Creative, and Aster's Ethiopian Catering.

Who's coming soon? Pies and breakfast tacos, more farmers.

Vegetables: ASPARAGUS! (from Bikkurim), carrots, broccoli, greens of all kinds, cilantro and parsley, tomatoes, peppers, cabbage, Chinese cabbage, green onions, lettuce, beets, turnips, fresh herbs, spinach, and radish.

Fruits: Strawberries from Bikkurim and Neagelin Farm.

Meats: Bison, beef, emu and eggs. Smoked salmon. Soon there will be pork and veal.

PLEASE BRING CLEAN CARDBOARD EGG CARTONS TO THE MARKET; these can be reused by the smaller 'yard' egg farmers. Bring them to the information booth at the market.

Dairy: Raw cow milk cheeses. We'll have goat cheese soon too!

Baked Goods: Breads, sticky toffee pudding, johnnycakes, scones, rolls, cookies, brownies, granola, and kolaches.

Flowers: Flowers from Texas Hill Country. Remember to Come back next week when we're back at 4th and Guadalupe.

Plants: Vegetable starts, cacti, ornamental, herbs.

Assorted: Chocolate, preserves, salsa, honey, dog treats (April- Jasmine is getting married in Singapore).

Ready-to-Eat: Tamales, savory kolaches, granola, quiches, Ethiopian food, coffee, lemonade, hibiscus tea and cider. Water sold at the Information Booth.
