In the Austin Farmers' Market....



Welcome back and also a hello/howdy to these folks, coming in 2/26... Penguinville Purses, Bradshaw Farms, Alexander Family Farm (Isaac's spoons), Combs Gardens. New is the introduction of Jake's Fine Natural Foods with three types of granola.

Not Here 2/26: The Herb Garland, Bikkurim Farm (they'll have asparagus next week!) and Gundermann Farm (Joan Gundermann will have her product in March 5, get ready for a boatload of certified organic greens, root crops, etc. ).

Who's coming soon? Sticky Toffee Pudding on March 5th. And pies and breakfast tacos, more farmers.

Vegetables: Carrots, broccoli, greens of all kinds, cilantro and parsley, tomatoes, cabbage, Chinese cabbage, green onions, lettuce, beets, turnips, fresh herbs, spinach, radish and maybe a little asparagus.

Fruits: Strawberries coming in March!

Meats: Bison, beef, and eggs. Smoked salmon.

PLEASE BRING CLEAN CARDBOARD EGG CARTONS TO THE MARKET; these can be reused by the smaller 'yard' egg farmers. Bring them to the information booth at the market.

Dairy: Raw cow milk cheeses.

Baked Goods: Breads, rolls, cookies, brownies, granola, and kolaches. Sticky Toffee Pudding is back with Tracy Claros March 5th!

Flowers: Flowers from Texas Hill Country. Remember to BUY LOCAL FLOWERS FOR EVERY WEEK!

Plants: Vegetable starts, cacti, ornamental, herbs.

Assorted: Chocolate, preserves, salsa, honey, dog treats (April).

Ready-to-Eat: Tamales, savory kolaches, granola, Ethiopian food, coffee and cider. (Sticky Toffee Pudding quiches coming in March).

Crafts and arts: Specially designed t-shirts, soaps, paintings, hand died/spun wool, woven shawls & socks, jewelry, soy candles, cigar box and cloth purses, and clayworks. A special rabbit fur spinning demonstration to take place Easter week!
