Meet the Farmers
Who's coming - February 5th
Here are the following farmers represented at the market on regular Saturdays in the winter: Animal Farm, Arnosky Family Farm, Estrada Farm, The Garza Greens (a project of Garza High School students), Indian Hills Farm, Kaune Line Farm, Millberg Farm, Neagelin Farm, Ottmers Farms, Oasis Gardens, Bikkurim Farm, Veldhuizen Farm, and Thunderheart Bison. The second week in February we will have new animal husbandry farmers in beef, goat and lamb. Poultry will soon follow.
The bounty of locally grown produce is apparent at the Austin Farmers' Market with more than a dozen farmers, ranchers and growers present every Saturday, even in this winter season. The Austin Farmers' Market represents LOCAL farmers and producers, with ALL vendors coming from 150 miles away or less.
Loncito's Lamb is done for the season but please call him at 361-318-6709 if you happen to go by his place in Dinero.
