Austin, or Seattle or Santa Fe?

Filed under: Market News — afm @ 8:10 am

Now it is looking like we will have weather at the farmers’ market that emulates Santa Fe, with no real threat of rain, cool mornings, and up to 60′s in the day. I was not into the Seattle weather we had for quite a long time in January and parts of this month–cold, cloudy, rainy. How do they do it? Guess that’s why there’re lots of coffee shops in Seattle.

Even after I admonished by near 13-year-old to stop walking around with his good shoes in the field yesterday, I couldn’t help my self this morning going out in my “good shoes” to inspect the peach trees, loquats, figs and plum trees. The peach trees are starting to blossom. Just one or two flowers per tree, but with lots of buds. The jonquils are in full bloom. And my shoes are muddy.

But I am glad to see predicted 60-degree days with some sun for the next few weeks.
